Juan Perdiguero, born in 1963, in Madrid, Spain, is a mixed media artist that combines photography, drawing and painting in his work. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in Drawing at the State University of New York at Oswego Art Department. He has been awarded various grants and fellowship including The SCAC Grant, Artworks! National Residency from CEPA Gallery, the Art Matters Inc. fellowship, the Hangar Barcelona International residency, etc. He has exhibited his work in numerous national and international galleries and museums, including Galeria Metropolitana, Galeria Artificial, Exit Art, The Artist Network, the Burchfield-Penney Art Center and the Albright-Knox Gallery. He has lectured extensively about his creative work nationally and internationally. His work is in numerous public and private collections including those of the Castellani At Museum, The Burchfield-Penney Art Center and the David Bowie Art collection. He spends his time creating, teaching and traveling in between Europe and the USA.

Juan Perdiguero,nacido en 1963, original de Madrid, es profesor de dibujo y pintura en la facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad del Estado de Nueva York, en el campus de Oswego. Ha recibido numerosas becas, permios y residencies artisticas entre las que se incluyen SCAC Grant, Atworks, National Residency CEPA Gallery, The Art Matters Inc., Hangar Barcelona, Can Serrat, el Bruch, Three Walls Chicago, etc. Ha expuesto su trabajo creativo en numerossas galerias nacionales e internacionales, entre las que se incluyen Galeria Metropolitana, Galeria Artificial, Marcia Wood Gallery, Ann Nathan gallery, Exit Art, The Artist Network, The Burchfield-Penney Art Center y The Albright-Knox Gallery. Ha dado conferencia sobre los procesos creativos de su obra artistica a nivel nacional e internacional. Su obra se encuentra en numerosas colecciones privadas y publicas entre las que se incluyen the Castellani Art Museum, The Burchfield-Penney Art Center y the David Bowie Collection.
